Construction Student Practical Experience Programme

The Construction Management Foundation is calling for applications from students and employers as part of the newly established Practical Experience Programme. The programme is aimed at connecting students with practical and vacation work opportunities with employers in the South African construction industry.

This programme is of strategic importance to the Foundation as its aim is to bridge the gap between industry and university by ensuring that students get as much exposure as possible while studying towards their academic qualifications. The programme also aims to help employers with find students with right attitude and attributes to take up roles within their businesses.

How do students apply?

We are taking students studying the following qualifications in any South African university.

  • Construction Management
  • Architectural Studies
  • Quantity Surveying
  • Property Studies
  • Civil Engineering

The duration of the programme?

The programme will close on 05 June 2021 for the Winter Vacation Programme. Students will be allocated to companies by 15 June 2021. Students will be required sign an Agreement with the Foundation that will set out expectations and terms of the programme.
