Johannesburg, 01 December 2020 – The Construction Management Management Foundation welcomes the appointment of Dr. Natalie Skeepers as the Chairperson of the Board of Directors of the Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB).
Dr Natalie Skeepers has more than 19 years of experience in Governance, Risk and Compliance, specialising in the Occupational Health and Safety discipline. She is a member of several professional organisations and affiliations, both local and international.
Natalie holds a PhD in Engineering Management from the University of Johannesburg, MSc in Health Safety and Environment, MPhil in HIV/AIDS Management from the University of Southern Queensland, Australia and Stellenbosch, respectively. She also serves on other boards, including the Rail Safety Regulator.
“Dr Natalie Skeepers is a seasoned industry executive with a deep understanding of the challenges facing the construction industry in South Africa. Her appointment comes at a crucial time at the CIDB and we are confident as the Construction Management Foundation that she is right person for the job”, according to Mr Ronnie Siphika, the CEO at Construction Management Foundation.
The appointment comes after the resignation of Ms Nonkululeko Sindane.
